Anne Davis Bunn, born August 18, 1929, in Asheville, NC, died Saturday, December, 31, 2011, in Lancaster. Spending most of her youth in Columbia, she attended Dreher High School and Winthrop College, before receiving her AB degree from the University of South Carolina in 1950. She and her husband of 57 years, Emery Leman Bunn, Jr. (deceased June 21, 2007), lived in Orangeburg for 36 years, where she served as a teacher and business owner. She and her husband retired to Brevard, NC, in 1992, where they both volunteered at the PCA Conference Center, Ridge Haven.

Mrs. Bunn was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church and Trinity Presbyterian Church (charter) in Orangeburg, and Cornerstone Presbyterian Church (charter) in Brevard, NC.

Surviving are three sons and one daughter, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren: Lawrence Leman Bunn and his son, Austin Davis, of Columbia; Norman Wayne Bunn, his wife, Martha White, his children, Laura Carolyn and David Emery, and her son, Collins Abbott White, of Greenville; Kathryn Bunn Welch, her husband, Hubert Hoyt Welch, Jr., of Lancaster, and their children Hubert Hoyt Welch, III (wife Amanda Cokins and their children, Hadley Anne and Miller Hoyt) of Goose Creek, and Sarah Anne Daley (husband Shaun Thomas and their son, Carter Welch) of Lancaster; Jeffrey Scott Bunn, his wife Marla Chapman, and their son, Cameron Scott, of Goose Creek. Also surviving is a sister, Nancy Davis of Charleston, WV.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, Columbia. A private interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Columbia.

Memorials may be made to the Ridge Haven Conference Center, 215 Ridge Haven Rd, Brevard, NC 28712.
