Dearest Melvin, it is very hard to not visualize Lila sitting in the kitchen, always with a smile. So many times she would ask me when I was going to fix my "famous" macaroni salad, or my latest grape salad (that you didn't even get to eat; she ate it all!) For the last 14 plus years, you and she have been a big part of my life and I will always treasure the wonderful memories. I have been truly blessed by knowing her and your family. Always know you are in my heart and I am at your service, no matter what. In God's Love, Lorry

We will always remember her with a big smile on our faces, as we enjoyed so much her marvelous sense of humor, her sweet glow, her brilliance and vividness. We will miss her dearly, but we take solace in knowing that, there is much joy in heaven with the arrival of such a charming angel. She loved us, and we loved her immensely! She touched our lives in a very special way. We feel so honored, and we thank our Heavenly Father, for blessing us with her beautiful friendship, and her caring love.

She was a strong and beautiful woman who has endured a lot during her 92 (almost 93) years on this earth. I hope I'm only half the woman she was. She's at peace now, strolling freely over heaven with all of her loved ones who I'm sure were standing in line to greet her. We love you Granny.

Our world will not be the same, but I know you are dancing with angels, Your son welcomed your healthy soul into the arms of heaven. It was an honor to be your granddaughter, I will miss you terribly, and selfishly, you gave the world a blessing for 92 years just being on it, you touched so many people with your large heart, It is said to love for the sake of loving is Angelic, you are an Angel, now shining brightly from above onto your loved ones left behind.
