Cynthia Dianne Crumpton Morris, 64, of Prosperity, died Monday, April 9, 2012, at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital.
Born on March 26, 1948, in Prosperity, she was the daughter of Kathleen Kinard Crumpton and the late J.D. Crumpton. She was retired from the City of Newberry Finance Department and a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Essie Hawkins Circle.
Mrs. Morris is survived in addition to her mother, Kathleen Crumpton of Prosperity by her husband, James Earl Morris; a son and daughter-in-law, James Michael and Kelly Morris of Prosperity; a brother and and sister-in-law, Richard and Sheila Crumpton of Prosperity and special grandsons, Dillon Morris and Dalton Morris.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 12, 2012, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Jason Schafer and Rev. Henry Brandt. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church Bus Fund, 4056 St. Luke's Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.
Active pallbearers will be Andy Crumpton, John Derrick, Paul Derrick, Donnie Morris, Wade Morris and Earl Wicker.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Dianne's passing. I enjoyed our years of working together, and running into her over the past few years and "catching up". She will be missed by many. My prayers for you all. Casey
