Jimmie Nell Kyzer Wells, 72, of Newberry, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at Palmetto Health Richland.
Born on January 31, 1940, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Floyd G. and Ollie Beck Kyzer. She was retired from the Presbyterian Home of Clinton and formerly worked at the Oakland and Mollohon Mills in Newberry. She was a member of Bush River Baptist Church.
Mrs. Wells is survived by her husband, Gurnie Lee Wells; a son, Michael Lee Shane Wells of Newberry; daughters, Jennifer Penland of Kinards and Patricia Mundy and Diane Cockrell both of Prosperity; sisters, Marilyn Willingham of Newberry and Ann Lybrand and Cindy O'Neal both of Columbia; grandchildren, Shannon Hamilton, Brad Mullins and Brandon Mundy; a great-grandchild, Tori Hamilton and her best friend, Brenda Blalock.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm, Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Bush River Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Brian Preston. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flower memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation, 170 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29401.

Just read about Jimmie Nell's passing. My heart goes out to all of you.She was a good friend to me when we worked together at Riegel.
