Wendy Sue Leopard, 51, of Newberry, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at Palmetto Health Richland.

Born on April 24, 1961, in Balitmore, Maryland, she was a daughter of Lois Lang and the late Bertran Hepler.  She was was a retired CNA.

Mrs. Leopard is survived in addition to her mother by her husband, James Leopard; a son, James Leopard, Jr., brothers, Mike Helpler and Joe Miller; sisters, Monica and Joann.

Mrs. Leopard will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Fountain of Life Ministries.

AS YOUR MOTHER YOU ARE VERY MUCH MISSED AND I COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER DAUGHTER AS YOU HAVE BEEN SUCH AN INSPIRATION THRUGHOUT THE YEARS. Jimmy and Jimmy, Im so sorry to hear about Wendy. She was a really good friend to me when we lived in Newberry even after we stopped pastoring. The girls and I have many fond memories of your family. You are in my prayers. Peace and comfort to you.

Wendy is my best friend of 43 years, I am going to miss her so so much. I'm going to miss her saying "Hayyy" every time her or I called one another, or her telling me "Your the older one", on my birthday. . Wendy certainty was an inspiration to me and to all that knew her. I never fully understood her faith in God and she never wavered in that fact, in the fact that he had a plan for her. She was ok with going thru with what she did, she endured it all, so that others wouldn't have to suffer like she did. Wendy was always a good girl from when I first met her as a child of 9 to the very end. She never complained about why this was happening to her, she never questioned God - she just knew that it was all going to be ok. She had an uncanny way of making me laugh when things were bad, and she always would
be the first one to laugh at herself. I will cherish my memories made with Wendy forever. I can't wait for the day that we are together again. Wendy Girl, you truly were an angel here on earth. Rest in Peace my friend ❤

I am so very sorry to read about Wendy's passing. I haven't seen her in several years, but loved to talk to her when I did!!! She was a very sweet person!! Out thoughts and prayers are with you all!!!! Wendy and David Sease, and family!!
