Who would have thought you would go so soon.
With you being gone, our lives are so gloom.
We hate the fact you’ve gone away, but in our
hearts, we know you’ll stay.
You taught us right, you when we were wrong.
And with this knowledge we must go on.
With hurt and pain in our hearts,
We do know that we’ll never be apart.
You made us laugh, you when wanted to cry.
With those moments, we will make it by and by.
You are gone this we see,
And we know you’re in heaven watching down on us.
We love you Pete and we always will,
but losing you is a great big deal.
The suffering has ended and you’ve gone home
to sit with our Father on his throne

Peggy, My heart felt sympathy go out to you and your family. Pete fought the battle and now rests in the arms of Jesus. I enjoyed knowing him and the chats we had while taking treatments at the same time. May the Lord give you strength to carry on.

Such a wonderful gentleman to ever know. There was never a time I saw him in which he didn't speak and want to talk for a few minutes...usually about Clemson, our community or our churches.
I extend my sympathy and prayers to all of his family and friends at this time.
Silverstreet won't be the same without him.

Mindy, Ms. Peggy & Family,
We are So Sorry to hear about Mr. Pete. He was such a good man. I worked with him for 12 years at Ise and Mama worked with him 20+ years. He always had a kind word, a smile and a pat on the back for us. Me, being an avid Gamecock fan and Mr. Pete loving his Clemson Tigers, he gave me heck all the time. It was all in Fun. Our thoughts and Prayers are with each one of you. Keep those "Precious Memories" and know that he is No Longer suffering. God Bless all of you.
