I am stunned by Melissa's passing. I, and many others, know the heartbreak of losing someone unexpectedly. I have personally experienced the love of God that supports and comforts. He will help you to survive and thrive, though it doesn't feel right now as if you will. "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted." Claim the promise and I claim it on your behalf.

Frank and Christopher, I truly am in shock at this news. I knew Melissa from the time she was just a little girl- as her mom and her grandfather were religious shoppers at my father's supermarket in Chapin.
She was a BEAUTIFUL YOUNG LADY... And I had the pleasure of watching her mature into a BEAUTIFUL WOMAN.
She brought much joy to others --- of course you know that.
Please know that you and your entire family are in my heart and in my prayers.
MAY OUR LOVING FATHER give you strength in the coming days. And may you ALWAYS remember the LOVE, the LAUGHTER, and THE FUN!!!

Terrie Shealy Mayer
