My Testament to DeeDee :

The Lord God sent his only son, Jesus, to die for our sins. He did this so that we may enter the Gates of Heaven. However, as time goes on the evils of the world get stronger. In order to counteract all of the selfishness, anger, non-believers, etc. God hand-picks special Souls to give us, as a human race, the opportunity to do good and prove ourselves worthy. This special soul may have to go through great sacrifice and pain to accomplish God's plan to increase the goodness in this world. Sometimes this special Soul goes above and beyond the call proving that there is not only goodness still in this world, but goodness so great it transforms into miracles from God. A special Soul who accomplishes this is sure to have an extra special place in heaven with God.

DeeDee Frick Anderson is one of these very special Souls. She was a miracle from premature birth. She endured many personal & health trials her entire life. All the while, nurturing a strong Foundation of Faith, Hope, Love, and a belief in our Lord Jesus/God. She believed in Miracles and the goodness in people. She experienced at times the evils of this world, but also the great loves of family, friends, and an unbreakable Romance. Her Faith and Hope were greatly tested these past three years. Yes, she leaned on her family and friends at times when she did not feel strong, but held tight to her Faith and Hope in God's purpose for her.

It was in these times that she leaned on her friends and family that God's true purpose began to emerge. Her Facebook page alone is a testament to that. The number of people that left comments, pressed like, donated not only monetarily, but their time and efforts, is nothing short of miraculous. In this day and age, this kind of thing rarely is seen, much less experienced.

DeeDee and I talked of this many times. She never understood how she touched so many peoples lives to receive such responses to her need. But she was so grateful. I kept telling her that she must have touched all of these lives somehow positively, and that the responses that she was receiving was a miracle from God showing her a return of great love to give her strength. If God performed a miracle to save her life, or if He took her home; she wins either way. But it was at least part of His plan to bring out a great goodness in the world through her. I believe that even though she was in such great pain, her Faith and her Hope in God's plan, the unwavering support and love from her husband, and all of the outpouring of support from family, friends, and strangers kept her going as long as she did.

If it really was part of God's plan to bring out the good in this World by showing such Great Faith and Hope for one of His children, then it is my prayer that we all continue to share our Faith, Hope, and Love for others in memory of DeeDee. DeeDee's testament of great Strength and Faith is a gift to us all.

God bless you Ray Anderson. You were Deedee's greatest gift. Her light in total darkness. I pray that God gives you the strength to carry on in Deedee's absence to follow the next stretch in the Path of His plan for you.

Much Love to all of DeeDee's family.

Trish

I wanted to reach out to you during this sad time to offer my condolences. While nothing will completely tale away your grief, by meditating on God's promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God
will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

I am sorry to hear of your loss. When we lose someone in death, the pain, the grief and the feeling of helplessness can seem unbearable. The Bible promise: "God is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) The Bible gives us hope that one day our dead loved ones will be brought back to life. (John 5:28,29)
