To the Family ,
I would like to express how sorry to hear of your loss. I recently lost my father. The pain of losing a loved one is a pain that seemingly never goes away. However, the pain can lessen when we think of what God has promised to do for us.
At 2 Cor 1:3,4 the Bible states: "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God."
What comfort does he provide us? First of all, at 1 Cor 15:26 it says: "The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." So God views death as an enemy and will eventually remove death.
Secondly, Jesus gave us hope when at John 11:25 he said: "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" So there is a chance to see our loved ones again under better conditions.
This comfort from the Bible has helped me in dealing with the loss of my father and I hope it will help your family to some degree with your loss.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies and some words of comfort from God's Word. When someone you love dies, you are left with much pain and sorrow, but you are not without hope.(Job 14:14,15; John 11:23-25) Knowing you will see your dear loved one again will hopefully bring you some peace and comfort. Our merciful God will also give you strength to endure difficult times such as this. (Psalms 55:22)

I will always love and miss Uncle Edward. I have so many great memories spending time with him and Aunt Mary Ellen at the lake when I was growing up. I will always remember many fun pontoon rides, grilling out on Saturday nights, baths in the lake and how he held his nose to go under the water. He was fun and made me laugh. I loved his relaxed, laid back, easy going personality. I loved how much he loved Aunt Mary Ellen and how they would pick at each other, all in love and fun. I loved how much he loved all of his four legged fur babies. Sending love, hugs and prayers ❤️.
