Ms. Nellie was a special lady. She donated countless hours to the hospital knitting coverlets for our newborns and lap robes for our patients. We are ever grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing her. May God comfort each of you during this difficult time.

Kay and Kristen, you have my sympathy. I am so glad I got to see Mrs Nellie before she passed. She was such a wonderful lady. She and Mr. Ned were always so special to me. You had wonderful parents, Kay. Kristen, they loved you dearly. I know there is a wonderful reunion in Heaven. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I could have been at the funeral but did not know in time. God Bless You. Love and Peace, Willie

Kay, I can hardly think about what you must be going through right now without becoming emotional myself. Our mothers play such an important part in our lives and Christmas was what they enjoyed so much. My prayers are with you and your family during this time of the year when we miss them the most.

We are so very sorry for your loss. I got your letter this weekend and we planned on coming to visit the weekend after Christmas. I hate that we did not make it before Grandma Nellie passed. She was the best.

Mrs. Richardson was our neighbor prior to moving to Springfield. The Richardsons were special friends and fellow Central UMC members. I had the pleasure of teaching in their Sunday School Class at Springfield. I am saddened to learn of her death. May God's love and peace be with her sweet family. They were forever faithful.
