Kenneth “BC” Currin Wilkerson, 61, of Prosperity, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 with his family by his side..
Born on September 7, 1957 in Columbia he was a son of Barbara Jean Garner Wilkerson and the late Branson Currin Wilkerson. He was the former owner of Wilkerson Insulation Company. Kenneth was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church and enjoyed Clemson football, NASCAR and spending time with his friends. His greatest loves included music and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters.
He is survived in addition to his mother, Barbara Jean Wilkerson by his wife, Pamela Denise Wilkerson; a son, Wesley (Virginia) Wilkerson; a daughter, Kristin (Travis) Simpson; brothers, Alan Wilkerson and James Wilkerson and granddaughters, Emory and Kaitlyn Simpson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church from 1:30 – 2:30 pm. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm and will be conducted by the Rev. Bobby Morris. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 2336 Mt. Pilgrim Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.
