Our deepest sympathy to all of the family. I remember so well the days that Mr. Tom would spend plowing the fields around Mama and Daddy’s house. And the nights when the menfolk would get together to play set-back and the wives would sit and visit and all of us kids would play together. Those were truly the good ole days! Our prayers for strength and comfort.
Love, Shirley Metts and Charles Lindler.

My prayers are with all of you. Fond memories of Tom during school days and basketball games. The grandchildren enjoyed walking through his pastures on their creek walks with Wayne each summer. He was always busy with his farm and was always good to see him plowing and raking hay. Love and prayers for each of you today and the days ahead.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I was Mr. Tom's feed rep for Spartan Grain until he closed the dairy. He was a pleasure to work with and I appreciated his love of farming. Mr. Tom was one of those rare customers who seldom complained about anything. He just took everything in stride. I don't remember all of my customers, but Mr. Tom was one of those I never forgot. Mrs. Harriet and family,
I am so sorry for your loss! Pa was truly a great man. I am going to miss seeing his smiling face at church and will always cherish the many childhood memories I have of him. He was like a second grand father to me growing up. I ll never forget riding around on his land in the gator, butchering on Saturday’s ,going to the saw mill, fishing in the pond on Sunday’s , watching him sew up his finger with cow supplies and saying “ oh it will be alright”, and his famous words of “ get out of here” to bandit the dog, I will be keeping y’all in my prayers. Heaven sure did gain a great angel to watch over you all. Love you all.
