Virginia Faye Morris Clamp, 81, of Newberry, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Prisma Health Richland.
Born on February 2, 1939 in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late Willie Herbert and Ruth Hawkins Morris. She was retired from the Newberry County Health Department and was a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Clamp is survived by her husband, William Boyd “Bill” Clamp, Jr.; sons, W.B. “Billy” Clamp III (Jan) of Greenwood and Todd Clamp (Donna) of Newberry; a sister, Karen M. Senn of Newberry; grandchildren, W.B. “Will Clamp IV, Martin Cole Clamp, Lindsay Clamp, Kylee Denter, Shane Bowermaster and Jacob Bowermaster and great-grandchildren, Kensley Anne Clamp, William Drayton Clamp, Larken Kate Clamp, Brantley Jones and Scotty Bowermaster.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, December 11, 2020, at Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. Jimmy Counts. Memorials may be made to Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church, 1105 First Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
Due to COVID 19 everyone is reminded of the social distancing requirements and masks are strongly encouraged.
