Wynona Davis “Toni” Ruff, 89, of Pomaria, widow of Joe Bates Ruff, died Saturday, December 12, 2020.
Born on May 10, 1931, in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late Henry Frank and Ella Land Davis. She was retired after 32 years from General Electric (Mepco) and was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Ruff is survived by a daughter, Kathy R. (Jack) Wilson of Pomaria; a sister, Jolene Armstrong of Belton; grandchildren, Kim (Bill) Hester, Meagen (Nick) Waites, Joseph (Brie) Ruff, Cory (Andrea) Bickley and Blake Bickley and great-grandchildren, Gracen Hester, Stanton Hester, Whitley Waites, Raelyn Waites, Rylee Waites, Hazel Ruff, Violet Ruff, Ruby Grace Ruff, Bates Ruff, James Bickley and Wyatt Bickly. She was predeceased by a son, Joe Franklin Ruff, a daughter, Karen R. Smith, sisters, Alma McFaddin, Myrt Davis and brothers, Roy Davis, Bobby Davis, Ken Davis, Eddie Davis, Wayne Davis and Dale Davis.
A graveside will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Rev. Steven Jackson. Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, PO Box 170, Pomaria, SC 29126.
Active pallbearers will be Bill Hester, Stanton Hester, Nick Waites, Joseph Ruff, Cory Bickley, Blake Bickley, Mike McFaddin and Phil Davis.
Due to COVID 19 everyone is reminded of social distancing requirements and masks are strongly encouraged.

There was never a time that I saw Miss Toni that she didn't have a little conversation with me. She was always pleasant and sincere.
