She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, John Alfred Bundrick; brothers, Walter (WT) Sloan, Bryan Sloan, Bruce L. (Tiny) Sloan; and sisters Ollie Mae Emerson, Marie (Bay) Tucker, and Louise Harker.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 30, 2016 at New Hope United Methodist Church (3777 New Hope Rd, Pomaria, SC) by the Reverend Daniel Eplee. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (209 New Hope Road, Pomaria, SC). Visitation will be Thursday, December 29th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at McSwain-Evan Funeral Home. Alfred, Darlene, and family -- Sending my sympathy to all. I always enjoyed both your mom and dad's visit to the bank. They both were so proud of their children and grandchildren. You knew because of the smiles they had while talking about you all. I know that you will miss your mom now that she has joined your dad. Just know that they live on in you.

I enjoyed knowing Mrs. Bundrick during the years we worked for the Newberry County School District. She was a valuable employee and most appreciated. She did love working with children and they loved her too. Please know that she was extremely proud of her children as well. May God's love and peace be with you at this sad time and in the days to come.
