Russell Alan "Booger" Lee, 67, of Newberry, widower of Ann Inman Lee, died Sunday, July 30, 2017, at Palmetto Health Richland.

Born on August 14, 1949, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Russell William and Ruby Cromer Lee. He was a logging truck driver.

Mr. Lee is survived by a son, Brian William Lee; a daughter, Lori Lee Tankersley and grandchildren, Vincent Tankersley,Jr., Leah Tankersley, Hunter Sanders and Natalie Lee. He was predeceased by a brother, Randal Lee.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 5, 2017, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jeff O'dell. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mayer Memorial Lutheran Church, 1307 Drayton Street, Newberry, SC 29108
