All the young children and babies loved Grandma Wicker and coming to her home. As a young women she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School at St. Philip's Lutheran Church and after her marriage she joined St. Matthews Lutheran Church where she also taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School and was a member of the Lutheran Church Women. She was involved with helping to compile the Wicker family history.

Wicker, Louise Wicker and Craig Eargle Wicker; a sister and best friend, Irene Smith; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
