Nell will never have to face the last enemy death, ever again.
In the meantime, her acts of faith live on until she stands up alive and whole in the Paradise. Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

She will be missed by everyone's life she touched. I will always remember her kind nature and love for people. Rest In Peace Nelva.

So sorry to hear of this accident! I was a former neighbor of Nell and La when I was a child. She used to take me to Hardee's and the carwash every Saturday morning for years. She made the best homemade red velvet cake! And the best part was licking the bowl! She would call me to come over anytime she made a cake just to be able to lick the bowl. Forever in my heart Nell! I'll miss seeing that gamecock van around town. Love, Kayla Lindler (formerly Edenfield)

I met Nell about five years ago. Nell sang in our choir at Mount Horeb Church. I will always miss her. She would always greet me with, "Hello, babe!"

After hearing a hymn or an anthem she especially liked she would comment with either a "That's Sooo "purdy" or " I like that - it's jive-y."

Nell was a Christian lady, through and through. I can say for certain, without a doubt, there was never a dull moment having Nell in the choir. I told her one time she could be a stand up comedian. I will miss Nell very much and her absence will be felt, especially during rehearsals and Sunday services.

I know Nell is in a better place and is keeping all the angels and those gone before her rolling with laughter with her quick wit and funny stories. Nell loved music and her Gamecocks.

I imagine Nell is singing with the angels right now and between singing, she is saying, "Go Cocks!"

I love you Nell, Susan
