My prayers to the Dowd family. I am sure you have wonderful memories of Mrs Dowd. She taught my son Mark, at Blessed Sacrament. She was so loving and kind to my sweet active bouncy boy and treated him as her own. He was so excited when she came to his birthday party. She helped me immensely as well with “life” at that time. She will always have a special place in my heart.

I was very fond of Miss Dowd as my kindergarten teacher at Blessed Sacrament. She made me feel very comfortable when I did not want to leave my Mom. She always said hello to me years after and remembered my face as if she had taught me just Yesterday. May you find God’s peace. Brian

I have lost one of my dearest friends in this world. There are no words to express my feeling of loss. May God grant her children courage, acceptance, and peace that passes all understanding.

We all give thanks for the years of service and sacrifice she and Wyman devoted to God.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy, love and prayers to all of "Miss" Edna Earle's and Pastor Dowd's family. They were a wonderful couple and such a pleasure to know. I especially got close to Miss Edna Earle during the time she and Pastor served Holy Trinity, Little Mountain. She and I stood side by side as we served our Lord by playing the handbells. She and I enjoyed many good times together and it was also always a joy to run into her and Pastor when they and I would be running errands ( anywhere between Newberry & Chapin). I know Heaven is rejoicing now that they are once again reunited.
Thoughts and Prayers from Our Family to Yours,

Kim & Ashleigh Derrick

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ms. Edna Earle's family. She was such a wonderful lady that we got the pleasure of knowing when our oldest son attended Holy Trinity Preschool. She was wonderful with the kids and they loved her like their own grandmother. I hated when she retired before my middle child attended the preschool. The community has lost a wonderful lady. Our sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Double Trouble That was our nickname at HTpreschool. What joy to know. Remember her from high school basketball. I had the privilege of reading her notes she make at the end of each school year. What a gift to the children she taught. Well Trouble, guess I will have to keep our legacy alive and get in double trouble until we meet again.

Ms. Dowd was one of the rarest of people. She had an incredible understanding of children, always meeting them where they were. She gave me the best advice ever when my daughter was young, telling me that what children need most from us is our time. I have always been so greatful that she came into our lives. I know that she is now an angel in heaven. She was always an angel here on earth.
