None of you know me, but I will always remember the kindness Martha showed when she met the school bus from O"neall School on the first day the school for us that Sept. after we consolidated with PHS. I was in the 8th grade. On her on she came out to the bus, and welcomed all us new people. I, for one, certainly appreciated this. Drucie Connelly Eaddy, Greenwood, SC

My deepest condolences to the family. Martha was so loved by many and will be remembered for having a kind and generous heart as well as a compassion for animals. I have missed and loved cousin Martha for many years. She is happily in heaven with our Lord alongside Tucker and the other great animals. Until we meet again.
Love,

What a wonderful woman whom I was blessed to cross paths with. So friendly and loving of all creatures, intelligent and witty. She carved the most amazing wood carvings I have ever seen. She loved her mother, family church and was so good to her town. She has already been missed by many. Prayers to her family.

My parents lived across the street from Miss Mable and Miss Martha when she retired back to Prosperity. As others have said she was a great lady as well as a loving neighbor who will long be remembered. My prayers to her family.

Ms. Martha was surely an angel here on earth, always willing to help others and with a beautiful smile on her face. I know that she cared for and fed countless number of animals. Jesus truly lived in her heart. I will miss her! Jenny and Jimmy Braswell

Miss Martha was so such a sweet lady. When we would be taking a walk, we would stop and chat with her awhile when she would be outside. She was such a pleasure to visit with. May God's peace be with you all. Lana and Wayne Bannister

I am so sorry to hear about Ms. Martha. She was a lovely, sweet lady who was admired and loved by so many, including me. She always had a smile on her lips and a word of encouragement on her tongue. My heart goes out to her family, but I know she is at peace with her Lord. In Christian love, Lynn Wessinger
