Ruby Mae Rawls Graham, 89, of Pomaria, widow of Marvin Raymond Graham, died Thursday, November 22, 2018, at White Oak Manor.

Born on July 18, 1929 in Pomaria, she was a daughter of the late William Alvin and Clara Wicker Rawls. Mrs. Graham was retired from Damon International and after retirement worked at Shealy Brothers. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church where she was involved with the Adult Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Women and the Go Group. She loved cooking and sharing with food everyone and a favorite pastime of hers was to grow tomatoes which she started from seeds.

She is survived by sons, Carroll (Vickie) Graham of Pelion and Derrill (Lynn) Graham of Pomaria; grandchildren, Chris (Chris) Graham, Kyle Graham, Josh Graham, Jeremy (Stacey) Graham, Brittany (Jon) Paul and Bradley Cummalander; great-grandchildren, Hunter Graham, Shealy Graham, Ryan Graham, Emory Graham, Cannon Paul, Cohen Paul and Campbell Paul. She was predeceased by a sister, Lula E. Rawls and a brother, John W. Rawls.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, November 25, 2018, at New Hope United Methodist Church by the Rev. Cameron Levi. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:30 – 3:30 pm at New Hope United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the church General Fund or Sunday School Fund, 331 Holloway Street, Pomaria, SC 29126.

Active pallbearers will be Ray Doolittle, Ritchie Koon, Danny Stone, Ray Repko, Danny Metts, and Kenneth E. “Buck” Stuck.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Go Group of New Hope United Methodist Church.

So sorry to read of Mrs. Ruby Mae's passing. I so enjoyed talking to her in the car rider line at Little Mountain when she would pick up Hunter and Shealy from school. Such a sweet precious lady. Prayers for you all.
