Wendell Lee Calhoun, Jr., 42, of Prosperity, died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his residence.

Born on September 28, 1976 in Canton, OH, he was the son of Wendell Lee "Red" Calhoun, Sr. and the late Amy Gallagher Sikora.  He was a Army veteran.

Mr. Calhoun is survived in addition to his father, Wendell "Red" Calhoun by his step-mother, Patricia Calhoun of Prosperity; paternal grandmother, Leila M. Long of Canton, OH; sisters, Susan F. Calhoun Stroup of Canton, OH, Katie Sikora McAbee of Columbia and Melinda Sikora Schlemmer of Massilion, OH and brothers, Adam Gallager of Canton, OH, Robert Castles of Dunwoody, GA, Christopher Sikora of ID and Joseph Sikora of SC.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Mcswain-Evans Funeral Home with Military honors to be rendered at 7:00 pm.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 110, Columbia, SC 29204.
