This news is especially hard for a teacher to hear. I can still see that sweet boy sitting in his desk. He really looks the same now as he did in second grade. Gay, please know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

Dear Gay and Family. I am so sorry for the lost of your son. It's hard to lose a love one but extremely hard to lose a child. My heart goes out to you for I lost a son also and understand the hurt and emptiness that you feel. You will never get over these feelings but they will be easier to bear as time goes by. Heaven has gained another Angel. Be strong and keep the faith. We know not God's plans but Jamey is safe now in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Love you. Alice and Brice Boozer.
