Glenn Frick Wicker, 61, of Prosperity died Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Lexington Medical Center.

Born on April 7, 1958 in Newberry County, he was a son of the late Henry Harold and Corrie Cleo Frick Wicker. He was a graduate of Newberry College and worked at Davenport & Willingham, Inc. and part-time at Hedgepath Outdoor Power Equipment as an accountant. Mr. Wicker was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and the Newberry Country Club.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bowers Wicker; a son, Andrew Glenn Wicker of Prosperity; a daughter, Nancy Michelle (Alex) Jones of Moncks Corner; a sister, Jenny (Larry) Koon of Pomaria; brothers, Henry (Linda) Wicker of Newberry and Robert (Marsha) Wicker of Swansea; a grandson, Easton William Jones and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 8, 2019 at Zion United Methodist Church (80 Zion Circle, Prosperity, SC) by the Rev. R. T. Bowling, III. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1741, Greenwood, SC 29648.

Active pallbearers will be Michael Rumfelt, Stephen Rumfelt, Bobby Willingham, Brett Wicker, Jerry Graham, David Nichols, Tony Hedgepath and Trey Willingham.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Davenport & Willingham, Inc. and Hedgepath Outdoor Power Equipment.

Nancy, Andrew and Michelle, I never had the chance to meet you but Glenn always spoke very kind words about all of you and was so very proud of each one of you. Glenn was a very special person and a very kind man. I will truly miss seeing him at the bank and talking to him about all kinds of things.
