Dear Family of Mr. Lewis,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your father. He and my daddy, Bennie Williams, were such good buddies and shared lots of good times, coon hunting, cooking fish, and shooting the breeze. He was a true and faithful friend and a gentleman. He will be missed and will always be remembered with love. God bless your family during this difficult time.

Our family offers our tribute to "Booty". I enjoyed running across him when he worked at the city for so many years. It was also nice to see him working away in his lovely garden in the spring and the summer. He was truly an interesting and iconic man. We appreciate his service to our country during a very perilous time. Lee, Carol, Joseph, Amelia

Parker, Sheree, Eddie & families, we are sorry for your loss and will always treasure the fond memories of growing up together in our wonderful neighborhood where the values of hard work, sharing and caring for each other like family were instilled at an early age. From the Price family to the Bobb family, we love you all and are holding you close in our hearts, if not our arms. Heaven's garden will be a little more beautiful and a little more bountiful this year, especially the strawberries.

YOU have my deepest sympathy in his death. He was a dear friend in our time with the city. I saw him most morning for a cup of coffee at the warehouse and at other time he stopped by for a great conversation. He talked often of his children. Once he was retired he always waved when I drove by because I lived a few blocks away and I often saw him walking. He was an easy man to like. I will miss him as many others will. I am sorry I can not be with you at this time, I lost my wife 10 days ago.

Mr Booty was such a sweet man. We will always remember him working in his garden, bringing us collards, and jumping on the back of my son’s four-wheeler for a ride. May your memories comfort you!
