Clyde was a super guy. He was always fun and joking. I have known Clyde most of my life. I first came to know him at MC as a football player, where I admired his fearless play. He would always speak to me as a kid and that meant a lot. Later in life I would see him around the Mountain and loved to go at with him. He did a magnificent job with his family and I know he was proud of each and everyone of his kids. He is now at Peace and will continue to root for his Gamecocks from above. Please know our family offers our support and prayers for you. Lee, Carol, Joseph, Amelia

My deepest sympathy and condolences to Mary and the Family, Clyde was a dear friend to me for the time i got to know him working out at the Gold Mine and going over to order parts. Not only did he do a great job doing his job but it was great to sit and talk with him about his family and the good old days. He loved his family and life that he lived. He was a big believer in his Lord and we love to talk back and forth and made our days a much better day. Clyde will be missed by many as i will miss him and will always cherish his friendship as a very true friend

He was one of a kind. Find strength in knowing that he cherished you all. And raised you to Give glory to the Lord for all He give you.
Facing tomorrow without Papa Clyde will be difficult, but knowing he left you to watch over you, guide you and cheer on his lady Gamecocks, no matter where they play, is a blessing.

My deepest sympathy and condolences for Mary and his family. Clyde worked for me at Haile Gold Mine when we first started on site in support of their operations in April of 2015. Clyde was the Parts & Service Coordinator and was directly in charge of Parts Operations as we grew our support. I always trusted Clyde to do the right thing and get the job done and needless to say, Clyde did an excellent job. His charisma, sense of humor and integrity lead him to develop strong relationships with Blanchard employees and customers alike. I considered Clyde a true friend. His dedication and contribution to our company will always be remembered. I will always remember his hard work and sense of humor that made everyday working with him enjoyable. My prayers are with Clyde, Mary and his family. I pray the Lord will ease their mourning as he is now in a better place.

Sharing your sorrow. Sometimes the only way God can heal our loved one is to call them home where there is no more sorrow or pain. We shared many special memories through the years. May God wrap each of you in his loving arms and give you strength and comfort. Our love to each of you.

Lunell, Kim, Cindi, Kenny & all the grandchildren,
We are saddened to hear of Clyde's passing. Derrill & Clyde were cousins, but mostly they were good friends. It was always a pleasure seeing Clyde and Lunell. Clyde and Derrill always enjoyed sharing stories of their days playing football together at Mid Carolina High School back in the late 60s. In later years we sat with Clyde and Lunell at many school ballgames as we watched another generation of Lipsey and Taylor boys playing ball. Please know that we have kept all of you in our prayers and will continue to hold the family up in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. May our Lord console you all and give you peace during your time of grief. Much Love, Debra & Derrill
