Our friendship with all of the Smith family has lasted 49 years this July when we moved to the lake. We are so heartbroken for you Kathy, Shawn and Dottie with the passing of Bill. What fond memories we have of Bill for his gentle soul, soft spoken manner and genuine concern and caring for others. These beautiful character traits never left him in all the years we knew him and what an inspiration he was to have faced his very, very difficult illness with such grace and courage. Our prayers are with you Kathy, Shawn and Dottie.

Kathy, I am so sorry to read of your husband's death. I remember him from the days of Food Land when he did some grocery shopping---dressed in uniform. He was always very much a likeable gentleman.
God bless you and your family during this sad time. AND may you know the comfort that only OUR GRACIOUS LORD can grant.

With love and sympathy,
Terrie Shealy Mayer
