Sylvia Bedenbaugh, Davenport, 63, of Newberry, died Friday, January 29, 2010, at Palmetto Health Richland.
Surviving are her husband, Hugh B. Davenport; a son, Hugh Boyd Davenport, Jr. of Newberry; a brother, Phillip Marion Glymph of Gaston. She was predeceased by a daughter, Kathy Susanne Davenport Wicker, her parents, Jacob and Carrie Morris Bedenbaugh, her biological mother, Mary B. Glymph and a brother Frankie Baxter Glymph.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2010, at Trinity United Methodist Church by the Rev. Hugh Bickley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
