(Glenda Crossland Kinard) My sister and I both worked with Mrs. Dot at BC Moore's years ago when we were in high school and college. We absolutely adored her. She was such a very special person. Her faith shined through everything she said and did. I will always remember her calming nature.
Our older sister Sally knew Mrs. Dot as well and often saw her at Food Lion (where she works). She, too, thought so much of Mrs. Dot as did our Mother, Y-Genia Crossland.
I know that Mrs. Dot is with her heavenly father and Mr. Porter. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. God bless you all and give you comfort during this time.

While we will miss Mrs. Dot very much, we also rejoice in knowing that she is now face to face with her Lord Jesus in heaven! Her walk with Him here touched many lives and she will be sorely missed. Know that we are praying for all of you and love you very much.
