I heard of Wayne's passing today. I was one of the many people who shared his enjoyment of old toys. Wayne had a great active mind and I believe his love of toys is what kept him young at heart along with the other non-work activities in which he took part. I pray that you will be comforted and strengthened by all those who Wayne knew of the years.

To Waynes family I would like to offer my deepest sympathy. I am the owner of 4 Friends Auto Sales in Newberry and knew Wayne through business. My wife Beverly Griffin has known Wayne for many years. I always enjoyed sitting at his place of business and petting the cats.you could tell he loved his cats and we had many conversations about them as my wife and I are also cat owners. I will miss having our conversations. May God be with your family and give you strength during your time of grief.

Julia and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Wayne was someone I could count on with all the cars we have had over the years. He rescued me and my boys on numerous occasions. He would always do everything he could to help out. He will be sorely missed and I am glad I had the privilege to know him...Cathi

Mrs. Julia,
Mr. Wayne will be missed. I remember as a young girl seeing you, Mr. Wayne and Larry Wayne at church with Mrs. Esther. Years have gone by, but memories never leave. I remember when my Father came home from being told he was dying with cancer, we walked in the house and there was a beautiful potted plant on the kitchen table from both of you. He wasn't surprised beccause he knew how Wayne was when others may not have. That plant still lives today and will now be a memory of Mr. Wayne and my Father. You and your family are in our prayers.
In Christian Love,
Robbiette Roberts Hazel

So sorry for your loss. Though I didn't know Mr. Wayne very well, my husband, Ernesto, very much enjoyed working for him. I kinda felt like I knew him just from all of the stories that he came home everyday to tell. Sorry again.... your family is in my prayers.
