Nancy and family so sorry to hear of the passing of Robert. He was such a great guy to be around but he was also a gentleman of great character. I go back so far from my days at Newberry Electric Co-Op to my years with the City of Newberry. Robert was so tremendously reliable and honest and lived up to all obligations he made to you. It was my honor to not only know him but call him my friend. I’m totally sorry for your families loss but equally sorry for what our community has loss in Robert’s passing. My prayers are with you and family during this time, may our Lord keep all of you wrapped in his arms. Sincerely, Rick

Pop always welcomed my children, my husband, and me with open arms like we were any other member of the family. I believe that is just how he was, if you found yourself in that magical place he built you were family.

Brandy - thank you for introducing us to such a special person, he was a giant to us as 6th grade girls who stayed up too late, and now he's a giant forever watching over y'all.

To all the family, We are saddened to hear about Robert's passing. He was such a colorful guy, never knew what he was going to say, but you could bet you would be entertained in his presence. May our Lord console you all and give you peace during your time of grief. Much Love, Debra & Derrill Taylor
