Al Harrison

Algernon Scott “Al” Harrison III, 69, of Prosperity, passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 17, 2022.

Mr. Harrison was born on December 22, 1952 to the late Algernon Scott Harrison II and Osie Sitterson Harrison in Dolphin, Virginia. He was a retired truck driver, and took pride in tending to his garden and lawn.

Mr. Harrison is survived by his sons, Alan Harrison, of Prosperity, and Jeremy (Heather) Harrison, of Leesville, sisters, Peggy McClelland and Sylvia Jackson, both of Virginia, brother, Bane Harrison, of Orlando, FL, and granddaughter, Brier Harrison. He was predeceased by his son, Joey Harrison.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
