Alma Goff

Alma Alberta “Ma Goff” Turner Goff, 87, of Newberry, widow of Kelly Goff, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Palmetto Health Richland

Born on April 28, 1930, in Union, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Perry and Ada Brewington Turner.

Mrs. Goff is survived by a son, Joe W. Nobles; daughters, Mary Kinard Bundrick, Alma Jean Hester and Kitty Goff Sarmiento; twenty grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, George Thomas Kinard, a daughter, Alma Kelene Luna and siblings, Cathleen Kinard, Charice Lollis, Louise Poag and Thomas Perry Turner.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 24. 2017 at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Eddie Bledsoe. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of Kitty Sarmiento, 1306 Hunt Street, Apt. 121, Newberry.

Active pallbearers will be Ted Hester, Tim Amick, R.J. Coats, John Lollis, Tim Collins and Sonny Bundrick, Jr.
