Amy Rebecca Turner Kelly, 68, formerly of 1303 First Street, Newberry, wife of Ronald Dale Kelly, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home, Newberry.
Born on June 25, 1944 in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Vivian Moore Turner and George Curtis Turner, Sr. She was a graduate of Ninety Six High School and was retired from Greenwood Mills, Sloan Plant, where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church, Ninety Six.
Surviving is her husband of 23 years; a son, William “Bill” Turner of Florida; daughters, Charlene Livingston (Skipper) and Allison Stribble (Michael), all of Newberry; grandchildren, Blake Stribble and Will Livingston; sisters, Georgia Lollis, Lilly Martin and Patricia Turner, all of Ninety Six; brothers, Bobby Turner of Myrtle Beach, Curtis Turner and Ronnie Turner, both of Ninety Six.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Siloam Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Webb and Dr. Bob McCollum officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Siloam Baptist Church cemetery fund, PO Box 373, Ninety Six, SC 29666. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10:30 to11:30 am. The family members are at their respective homes.
Pallbearers will be Bo Harter, Dave Martin, Michael Stribble, Brian Lollis, Travis Lollis, Curtis Turner, Johnathon Turner and Adam Seibert. Honorary escort will be Rusty Harter, Skipper Livingston, Murray Gray, Terry Adams, Robert Lollis, Wayne Martin, Charlie Barr and Colie Harter.
Harley Funeral Home and Crematory of Greenwood is entrusted with the arrangements.
