Angela Jackson

Angela O'Shields Jackson, 58, of Newberry, died Saturday, April 3, 2021, at her residence.

Born on January 28, 1963, in Florence, she was the daughter of the late James Earl and Dorothy Ragsdale O'Shields. Ms. Jackson was a 1981 graduate of Whitmire High School, worked at Lorex Drugs and was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Brianna Beckom of Newberry; a brother, Tommy O'Shields of Florida and grandchildren, Amaiya Beckom, Aubreigh Hyler and Audrianna Hyler; former husband, Steve Jackson. She was predeceased by a brother, Bosco O'Shields.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, April 9, 2021, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
