Anne F. Farr

Margaret Anne Frick Farr, 81, of Little Mountain, died Monday, December 15, 2014, at White Oak Manor.

Born on June 4, 1933, in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Bennett Viron and Mary Ruth Putnam Frick. She was a 1954 graduate of the Spartanburg General Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Farr was a registered nurse at Newberry County Memorial Hospital and the Lowman Home of White Rock. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a member of WELCA and a former Sunday School teacher.

Mrs. Farr is survived by her husband, Jack Elon Farr; sons, Glenn Farr of Irmo and Craig (Lisa) Farr of Prosperity; grandchildren, Justin Farr and Kimberly Farr and a sister, Mary F. Epting of Little Mountain. She was predeceased siblings, Sarah Brandt, Bennett Frick and Donald Frick.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Brett Collins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after the service in the Trinity Life Center.
