Annie Bedenbaugh Frick

Annie Bedenbaugh Frick, 89, formerly of Chapin, widow of Lewis Harlan Frick, Sr. died Sunday, February 11, 2024 at White Oak Manor.

Born on May 21, 1934 in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late Horace Nichols and Annie Colene Smith Bedenbaugh. Mrs Frick retired from Damon International. After retirement, she worked at Frandeena's and Chapin Elementary School for a number of years. She was a life-long member of Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church where she was a member of the W.E.L.C.A,  the church choir, the Golden Agers, and the Swingers. She loved planting and working in her garden. Her greatest joy was taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Frick is survived by a daughter, Kathie (Guy) Rister of Chapin; sons, Lewis (Shelley) Frick of Chapin and Rodney (Kimberly) Frick both of Chapin; seven grandchildren, David (Rachel) Rister, Brian (Kelly) Rister, Troy Frick, Kendra (Andrew) Starnes, Kelly (Chris) Price, Ali Frick, and Colby Frick; great-grandchildren, Michael Rister, Elizabeth Rister, Easton Rister, Austin Rister, Paisley Starnes, and Austin Price. 

She was predeceased by a daughter, Marsha Ann Frick; sisters, Mary Summer, Dorothy Harris,and Betty Frick; and by a brother, Paul Bedenbaugh.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church by the Rev. Bobby Morris. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Building Fund, 2336 Mt. Pilgrim Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127. 

The family would like to thank the staff of White Oak Manor and MSA Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion.

Active pallbearers will be David Rister, Brian Rister, Troy Frick, Andrew Starnes, Ali Frick, and Colby Frick.

Honorary pallbearer will be Tim Bedenbaugh.
