Arbutus Miller

Arbutus J. “Trudy” Miller, 78, of Prosperity, widow of William “Bill” Miller, died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital.

Born on October 7, 1939 in Charleston, W.V., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Myrtle Burdett Davis.

She is survived by a son William J. “Billy Joe” Miller of Proctorville, Ohio; two daughters, Terry (Bernard) Belville of Prosperity,and Sondra (Joe) Hansford of Irmo; a sister, Barbara Fowler of Sumerville; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a special niece and nephew, Michael and Tonya Fowler; and a daughter-in-law, Marcia Miller. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, William “Bill” Miller and by a son, Robert “Robbie” Miller.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. JoAnn Means. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
