Barry Hamilton

Barry Russell Hamilton, 53, of Newberry, died October 4, 2015, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on December 10, 1961 in Newberry, he was a son of Robert Hamilton and the late Ruth Sumner Hamilton. He was an employee of the Town of Whitmire Commission of Public Works.

Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife, Jackie Brown Hamilton; his father, Robert Hamilton of Newberry; a daughter, Julie (Jon) Lawing of Newberry; a grandson, Brady Hamilton Black. He was predeceased by a sister, Joanne Nichols and a brother, Ricky Hamilton.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home by the Rev. Doug Ferqueron. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Old Time Baptist Church, 2422 Highway 560, Kinards, SC 29355.

Active pallbearers will be Robbie Hamilton, Richard Hamilton, Cecil Henson, Bill Wicker, Larry Thomas and Theory Maybin.
