Benjamin Stone

Benjamin Maxcy Stone, 27, of Newberry, died Monday, May 21, 2012.

Born on June 21, 1984, in Greenwood, he was the son of Daniel M. Stone and Karen Mills Stone. He attended Piedmont and Midlands Technical Colleges and was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. He was a genuine outdoors-man who loved golf, hunting and fishing.

Mr. Stone is survived by his mother, Karen Stone of Newberry; his father and step-mother, Daniel and Jenny Stone of Pomaria; a sister, Kristy (Nathan) Barnes of Columbia; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin T. Mills of Newberry; and a nephew, Ashton Stone Barnes. He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, E. Maxey Stone and Theresa R. Stone.
