Betty DeHart

Betty Garland DeHart, 69, of Newberry, died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at her residence.

Born on March 22, 1941 in Corbin, KY, she was a daughter of the late Leonard D. and Millie Elizabeth McLeod Garland. She was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are her sons, Hiram Thomas Reardon of Winnsboro, Steven Giles and Terry O’Donald both of Newberry; a brother, William “Bill” Sutton of Ohio; four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Davis, sisters, Gloria Garland and Alma Sue Tucker and brothers, Leslie Garland, Hubert Thomas Garland, Ralph Garland and Bobby Ray Garland
