Betty Jean Norris Dill

Betty Jean D. Norris Dill, 83, of Prosperity, died Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Palmetto Health Richland.

Born on July 7, 1929, in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late Eddie and Christina Mills Dominick. She was retired from Old School Manufacturing. Mrs. Dill was a member of Zion United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Laura Bedenbaugh Circle, the Golden Agers and the Lydia Fellowship Class.

She is survived by a son, Eddie W. Norris of Mauldin; a daughter, Cathy A. Norris of Mauldin; a brother, Wyman Dominick of Prosperity. Mrs. Dill was predeceased by sisters, Pearl D. Bowers, Evelyn D. Kyzer and Bertha D. Dennis and brothers, Roy Dominick, Otis Dominick, Raymond Dominick, Claude Dominick, Lewis Dominick and E.C. Dominick.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Zion United Methodist Church by the Rev. David Taylor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist Church, 80 Zion Circle, Prosperity, SC 29127

Active pallbearers will be Wayde Dominick, Clint Shealy, Grady Dominick, Anthony Dennis, David Bowers, Jr. and Harold Dominick.
