Betty Adams Seibert

Betty Jean Adams Seibert, 88, of Prosperity, widow of James Harold Seibert, Sr., died Monday, February 20, 2023, at her residence.

Born on February 22, 1934, in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late Allen Wharton and Gladys Julia Stockman Adams.  She was retired from Allied Signal.  Mrs. Seibert was a member of Macedonia Lutheran Church, a member of the Fellowship Circle and was a former Sunday School teacher.

She is survived by sons, Gary Allen (Judy) Seibert, Sr., James Harold (Cheryl) Seibert, Jr. and Daniel Wade Seibert all of Prosperity; a daughter, Wanda (Doug) Cassady of Prosperity; sisters, Shirby Chapman of Little Mountain and Reba Warren of Prosperity; twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Mrs. Seibert was predeceased by a brother, Troy Adams and a sister, Ettie Killian.

Funeral services will be held at Macedonia Lutheran Church on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 2:00 pm by the Rev. Terry Hundley and Rev. Randall Derrick. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Macedonia Lutheran Church, 49 Macedonia Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127, Lake Murray Rescue Squad, 149 Seibert Road, Prosperity, SC 29127 or the Fairview Fire Department, 149 Seibert Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.

Active pallbearers will be Gary Allen Seibert, Jr., Brian Cassady, Nicholas Seibert, Adam Seibert, Chris Howe and Clint Hiller.
