Beverly Jeanne Meyers, 91, of Prosperity died peacefully on October 30, 2015.

Born on September 8, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Hunter L. and Louwilla Cooper Fellers. She was married to the late Robert Meredith Meyers for 46 years; she met her future husband, an Army Air Corps cadet, who later served in World War II and the Korean Conflict, while attending Winthrop College. They made their home in Lewistown, P.A.. There she was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, and owner of the Posey Corner, where she won many state awards as a florist. After retirement in 1989, she and her husband Robert moved to her parents' home in Prosperity. In Prosperity, she was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, a member of the Alter Guild and a member of the Prosperity Literay Sorosis. She was a Lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by three daughters, Sharon (Collier) Neel of Newberry, Katherine Meyers Bennett of Newberry, and Roberta Meyers (James P.) Capo of Atlanta; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Fellers; grandchildren, Robert Meyers(Laura) Neel, Thomas C. Neel III, Meredith Leigh (Andrew) Bennett-Conner, Sara Bennett (Scott) Wessinger, and James Hunter Capo; great-grandchildren, Hunter Neel, Duncan Bennett-Conner, Donovan Bennett, Kaitlyn Wessinger, and Aidan Wessinger. She was predeceased by a step-brother, Robert H. Fellers.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, November 2, 2015 at Grace Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:30 until 7:00 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 188, Prosperity, SC 29127.
