Billie Hendrix Lominick

Billie Lorraine Hendrix Lominick, 87, of Newberry, widow of Bennie Walter Lominick, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at White Oak Manor in Newberry.

Born on June 19, 1935 in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late William Hassell and Fannie Mae Bouknight Hendrix. She was a homemaker and a member of Glory Tabernacle Church. She loved her family dearly.

Mrs. Lominick is survived by a daughter, Mary Jo Lominick (William) Piester of Newberry; a grandson, Jason Brooks (Joni) DeLoach, three great-grandchildren Zackery DeLoach, Jayden DeLoach, and Xander DeLoach, and three step great-grandchildren, Caroline Wessinger, Levi Wessinger, and Ryan Wessinger.

She was predeceased by her siblings; a sister Mae H. Woodward, brothers, Frank Hendrix, Hassel Hendrix, Robert Hendrix, Henry Hendrix, Wilson Hendrix, and an infant sister.

Memorial Services will be held at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 4:00 pm by the Reverend George Leagans. Burial will follow at Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 3:45 pm prior to the funeral.
