Bonnie B. Cook

Bonnie Burton Cook, 81, of Newberry, widow of T. Kenneth Cook, died Saturday, October 26, 2013, at White Oak Manor.

Born on September 3, 1932, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Maude Smith Burton. She was retired from Newberry Federal Savings Bank.

Mrs. Cook is survived by sons, Kenneth B. (Lynn) Cook of Newberry and Craig A. (Ada) Cook of Spain; a sister, Peggy Cook of Prosperity; brothers, Charles Burton of Gardena, CA, Carl Burton of Clinton and Gerald Burton of Columbia and grandchildren, Kenny, Ruth, Alan, Nathan and Joshua Cook and Jason Crosby, SFC. She was predeceased by sisters, Velma Smith, Ruby Nell Amick and Corrinne Berley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Michael Whitesides. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to World Team, 1431 Stuckert Road, Warrington, PA 18976.

Active pallbearers will be Harold Hunter, Marty Cook, Kenny Cook, Andrew Shealy, Richard Esterlin and Pete Ragsdale.
