Candise Phillips

Candise Kay Broome Phillips, 65, of Newberry, widow of Samuel Paris Phillips, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at her residence.

Born on August 16, 1954 in Springfield, IL, she was the daughter of the late Olin Broome and Leona Brank Sanders. Mrs. Phillips was retired from J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

She is survived by a son, Michael Shawn Phillips of Newberry; a daughter, Chelsa Denise Beach of Newberry; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Glory Tabernacle.
