Carrie Ann VanGilder

Carrie Ann VanGilder, 43, of Newberry, died October 4, 2014 at Palmetto Health Richland.

Born on December 3, 1970, in Skokie, IL, she was a daughter of Jerry Lynn and Diane Pauling Weatherford. She was a member of Glenn Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by her parents of Newberry; her husband, Brad VanGilder; sons; Tyler VanGilder of Newberry, and Justin Gattingnolo, of TN; special niece and nephew, Stephanie and Kyle Weatherford; brothers, Jerry (Marie) Weatherford, and John Weatherford; a sister, Denise “Sis” Wilson and husband David of Newberry; mother-in-law, JoAnn VanGilder;1 grandchild and expecting another one; and her dog Paco.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Glenn Street Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of her sister and brother-in-law Denise and David Wilson, 38 Maple Lane, Newberry, SC 29108. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Health Hospice, P.O. Box 7275, Columbia, SC 29202.

Honorary pall bearers will be her special Aunt Kay and Uncle Mike; special nephews, Jerry, Josh, Jonathan, Matthew, and David Weatherford, and Mikey Webb; special niece Cindal Bautista and her husband Jonathan.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and the pastoral staff of Palmetto Health Richland for their care.
