Casper Berry

Casper Audrey Berry, 80, of Newberry, died Saturday, November 6, 2010, at White Oak Manor.

Born on March 2, 1930, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Homer and Pansy Lott Berry. He was a Korean Army veteran, was retired from AF&F and was a member of West End Baptist.

Surviving is his wife, Frances Danielsen Berry; sons, Randy (Angela) Berry of Spartanburg, Keith (Frances) Berry of Newberry, Mark (Tiffany) Berry of Spartanburg, Tim (Angie) Berry of Prosperity; a daughter, Deanna (Charlie) Suggs of St. Matthews; sister, Nonie (John) Campbell of Newberry; brothers, Robert (Sally) Berry of Florida and Wingard (Louise) Berry of Fountain Inn; grandchildren, Kira Racine, Keith J. Berry, McKenzie Suggs, Hunter Berry, Chase Berry and Brock Berry; great-grandchildren, Caleb Racine and Bonnie Racine. Mr. Berry was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Joyce S. Berry, a sister, Evangeline Mills and brothers, Norvis Berry and Bland Berry.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2010, at West End Baptist Church. Burial will follow in West End Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church, 620 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
