Cecil Johnie Graham, 91, of Pomaria died Monday, April 7, 2014, at Springfield Place
Cecil, affectionely known as "Tot" by all and "Tottie" by his grandchildren was born October 13, 1922 in Pomaria to Marvin Hubert and Minnie Mae Berley Graham. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp and lived in North Augusta SC from 1962 until he retired from Martin Marietta Aggregates and returned back to his "home place" of Pomaria in 1995.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Annie Laura Lindler Graham, daughters, Bridget (Don) Winn of Grassy Creek NC and Susan (Jim) Delk of Little Mountain SC; grandchildren, Shannon (Joshua) Williamson of Crumpler NC, Kristen (Marc) Maready of Winston-Salem NC, Kimberly Winn of Natural Bridge VA, Katherine Winn of Boone NC, Joseph and Jonathan Winn of Grassy Creek NC and Jackson, Jarrett, and Charlotte Delk of Little Mountain SC; great grandsons, Lukas and Jakob Williamson; sisters, Willie Mae (Robert) Lindler and Geneve (Bobby) Morse of Pomaria SC and Polly Sharpe of Blythewood SC; sisters-in-law, Ruby Mae Graham and Mary Frances Graham of Pomaria and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Diana Winn and brothers Hubert, Raymond, and Virgil Graham.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at New Hope United Methodist Church by the Rev. Kathy Carr. Burial will follow in Graham Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 pm Wednesday at New Hope United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, 331 Holloway Street, Pomaria, SC 29126 or to the Newberry Council on Aging, 1300 Hunt Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
Active pallbearers will be Jason Black, Derrill Graham, Josh Graham, Marc Maready, Ray Repko and Joshua Williamson.
